Abe Foxman, the Anti Defamation League leader, called Carter's book antisemitic. For once, I agree with him. Dershowitz has also challenged Carter to debate him on Israel. Carter is simultaneously refusing and complaining that there is an enforced stifling of debate/criticism about Israel.

Prediction: The contrasts between Reagan's funeral and Carter's will be striking. Carter's death will be news for about 4 hours. There will be a funeral that gets almost no public attention. History will do its best to ignore him.
