Lieberman on Iraq
In the "Opposing View" section of USA Today:
"The deadline for retreat that Congress wants to impose is both arbitrary and inflexible. American troops would be forced to begin withdrawing regardless of conditions in Iraq, regardless of the recommendations of our military commanders, and regardless of what impact a hasty retreat would have on America's security and credibility — in short, regardless of reality."
I especially appreciate his being described as an "Independent Democrat." You can say that again.
Right down the middle.
Check it out.
(Do not try this at home - especially if you hold be gebrokts)

UCLA Beats Pitt, Thwarts Half-Baked Marriage Plan
There is a site that I have been visiting every week for the past several weeks - PostSecret - and I discovered this postcard on it.
PostSecret is a blog that publishes handmade postcards with the sender's anonymous "secret" printed on it. It is a compelling blog; the secrets are often poignant. This one is especially touching, don't ya think?

WSJ and the Jewish Question
There is almost always an article of Jewish interest in the Friday edition of the Wall Street Journal's editorial page. Well, at least on Fridays on opinionjournal.com. This is, of course, because the Jews control both the media and the financial world. I mean, duh.
Anyway, today there's a nice apologist article (and I use the term "apologist" in the most positive sense) about the mechitza, the divider between men and women in Orthodox synagogues.
Sorry for the lack in postings lately - Starbucks was trying to buy us out and I had to spend all my efforts keeping them at bay. But we're back in business, even if our offerings will continue to be somewhat sparse.
