M.A.S.H. Hair
Seems M.A.S.H. has been making the syndication rounds again lately. Something occurred to me the other day.
Did people in the 50's wear their hair anywhere anywhere remotely close to this length? Much less in the army? Seems to me the Beatles stirred up great controversy several years later with hair that was shaved by comparison.

good point. of course their hair is a ridiculous 70s anachronism. besides the point that in the 50s everyone wore their hair short, these were officers in the effing army where they may have been able to get away with their zany high-jinks, but they would have had a buzz cut.
