Most predictable response in recent history?
Dems + Press: We need more troops. Why doesn't Bush send more troops? All the generals say more troops - why is Bush ignoring them? More troops!

Bush: I think it's time to send in more troops.

Press + Dems: Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's the rush? We're not sure that's such a good idea...

Note that these are the same ones who insisted this was a big mistake and they were opposed to going there in the first place.

Ralphie,
With all due respect, what, exactly, are we doing over there? What good is being served? The war was based on lies. There was no plan. Three thousand U.S. troops have lost their lives. The people who hated us before hate us more now. For what?

Please search other blogs for answers to your tired questions. Buckets of digital ink have already been spilled, and if you're still asking then you don't really care about the answers. This post has nothing to do with such questions.

That was the perfect answer, Ralphie!

The Democrats WANT us to lose in Iraq.

Toby,
I don't want us to lose. I just don't know what we're doing there. What would winning mean at this point?

Winning would mean that Saddam Hussein does not come back from the dead and rule over Iraq again.

toby,
then we can leave.
