12 out of a group of 12, half of whom are usually dolts, are required to convict and sentence a murderer to death... usually after weeks of evidence and testimony.
It only took 3 out of the 5 court appointed doctors who examined Schiavo in 2001 to declare her pvs... ultimately condemning her to death. Shouldn't we at least have declared a the medical equivalent of a mistrial, and tried again?
