Yahoo! News - Abbas Wants to Protect Mideast Militants
Same dog droppings, different day.
Comments:
And this guy is the moderate in the Palestinian election! Lovely. So if I'm a Palestinian voter my choices are Abbas, a holocaust-denier who won't lift a finger to crack down on Hamas, and, um... Hamas! Nice! The US should realy work hard to make sure they get a state.

By the way, I wonder if Suha Arafat is going to give the poor Palestinians any of their stolen aid money back?

I'm not worried that there hasn't been progress on the peace process. I'm worried that there hasn't been progress on the war process. Progress in that regard would be manifested by terror enablers being too afraid of Israeli attack helicopters to make belicose public statements.

Everyone got so excited when Abbas called on Palestinians to Stop The Violence![TM] Like Arafat never said that. Maybe what threw people was his candid admission that murdering old women and babies wasn't wrong per se, just that it didn't seem to be working.

The Wall Street Journal had an editorial (http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110006091) the other day claiming that 2004 was the year that "the civilized world's romance with terrorism has ended." That, my friends, is wishful thinking.
