Doctor Bean Saves A Life -- and you can too
I'm embarrassed to say that it's been 5 years since I last donated blood, but I'm happy to say that I donated again today. It feels good (afterwards, at least), and it's the right thing to do. I'll try to do it at least annually from now on. If you want to find a Red Cross donation center or blood drive near you, just click on the picture.

I appreciate what you've done, Bean. It is a good habit to get into. I personally made the same vow to contribute blood as often as possible, but I had some bad experiences and I've given up on it.

Specifically, the last three times I've tried to donate blood they (the blood takers) have not been successful. They'll poke me a number of times and maybe get the blood flowing, but it always cuts out on them and they shake their heads and send me away with a sore arm and a sore attitude.

Keep donating. It's good. I will stand on the sidelines and applaud you.

Thanks, pal. Don't feel bad. You're not responsible for the behavior of your veins. You tried. They also didn't appreciate you joking about all the Hatian prostitutes you'd hired.

You know me too well.
