Holocaust lessons meet Muslim rebuff in France
It all comes together in France, doesn't it?
Comments:
My Hollywood movie-producing (Jewish) patients go to France all the time and they say that there's no Jew-hatred and everybody loves American tourists. I'm their doctor, so I nod and smile. But I think "Yeah, sure. You go to Cannes and hang out with the rich folks where it's still not polite to scream 'death to the Jews' but stroll through a Muslim slum near Paris, then we'll talk. Oh! Your limmo didn't go there?"

French Jews aren't asking me for advice, but I really think they should go for a vacation to Israel and then stay there.

Talked to a French Jew recently... He says it's not exaggerated.

Irina: Tell us his story. Or better yet, if he speaks English, ask him to visit us and comment here.
